Scotland 4-0 Faroe Islands

Following draws with Austria and Israel, Scotland needed a victory against the Faroes. It took only 7 minutes for Scotland to take the lead, when Tierney down the left, cut the ball back for McGinn in the box, to hit a low shot past the keeper. After 15 minutes, Craig Gordon was called into action when he saved a shot from outside the box. Seven minutes into the second half, Tierney crossed the ball into the box for McGinn, to head down past the keeper. Just before the hour mark, Tierney passed to Che Adams outside the box. He turned his marker and rolled the ball, before hitting a low powerful shot into the bottom left corner, to make it 3-0. Ten minutes later, Andy Robertson crossed the ball to the back post, for substitute Ryan Fraser to head in Scotland's fourth. It took Scotland up to 2nd in the group after Austria were beaten 4-0 at home to Denmark.
