Israel 1-1 Scotland

For the sixth time in two and a half years, Scotland faced their familiar foes Israel. Scotland had lost their two previous games in Israel in this time, so this would not be a straight forward match. 5,000 fans would be allowed inside the stadium in Tel Aviv, the first time in 16 months that fans would be at a Scotland match.

After only 8 minutes, Scotland almost took the lead, when a Scott McTominay header went just wide of the post. Midway through the first half, Marshall had to make a save from a Solomon shot in the box. A minute before half time Marshall was beaten, when a superb shot from outside the box by Peretz, flew into the top corner to make it 1-0. Ten minutes into the second half, Scotland levelled the scores. Che Adams passed to Ryan Fraser on the edge of the box, and he hit a low shot into the bottom left corner to make it 1-1. On the hour mark, Adams had a shot saved, as did Tierney a minute later. Five minutes later, Menachem headed wide for Israel, but the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
